Pope, Traffic, and Lacrosse

The arrival of Pope Benedict XVI to the area will be good economically, but as was pointed out in this article in the Baltimore Sun along with the boom comes the dreaded traffic.

It’s not as if the area isn’t already satiated with traffic problems, but this week is a good time to stay away from the area if you have any kind of traffic phobia.

My parents, along with a scattering of their friends are going to see the pope. They called me this weekend and offered me a ticket. I declined.

My parents have five children, of course they are Catholic.

I can’t connect with it at all, despite my years of “training”. They tried though, they did try.

  1. heh, I think Inside Lacrosse has the proper assessment of Georgetown, and can’t someone take Duke down please.

D.C. is a mess since the arrival of his grace.
